At the studio I am getting to the end of senior rep sessions and moving on the regular senior season! Be sure to call early for availability!

This was Cierra's first photo shoot (1 of 3) and I bet you already know I am in love with her style. I always tell people a light rain makes for the best light in pictures and I don't think any of you really believe me. But it was raining a bit that day and look! How perfect! Now you all have to believe me!

Tip of the day: Prom Event @ the studio on April 24th! Funky, fun, edgy, top model are the type of images I have in mind. These will NOT be traditional pictures and will have a fashion twist to normal prom photos. I seriously haven't been this antsy/excited for anything in a while. I know these are going to be awesome so be sure to call and reserve your time! $5 per person for 10min with free facebook images.

Meet Hannah! I know I say this every time but..... we had a fun photo shoot! I just can't not say it. I need to find a more creative way of expressing it though. I'll work on it for you guys so you don't have to read the same thing all the time. Nonetheless, we had a great time and captured some awesome pictures. See winter can be a perfect time for senior sessions!

Fashion Session: Christina

I wanted to try out a couple different lighting techniques so I asked Christina if she would mind modeling for me and here are the results! Christina was such a sport and jumped in heals at least 10 times, let me blow a fan in her face forever, and never complained. Am I blessed or what!?! Anyway these are a couple of my favorites, look for some of these new techniques this coming year in senior pictures. I can't wait till senior season kicks into high gear again but man am I going to miss all of this past years seniors. You guys rocked!

Tip of the day: Good and bad news...... I am only taking a couple appointments in March (bad) because I am getting married on the 6th (good)! So if you are looking to book an appointment for March please let me know asap so we can get you in, or find a time in April or February. Thanks so much for understanding :D

Tip of the day: Booking a friends session is great for 2010 seniors before everyone goes off to college. Fun memories and pictures makes things way less sad!

Fashion Session: Melissa & Josh

Now these are the couple session I adore. Edgy, unique, and oh so fun. We had a chilly day and Melissa in a cute little dress. Poor girl! But the haze was rock'n and I had a great time taking a break from senior pics to do this session.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I can't believe its only a couple days away. Thank you Jesus for saving us. It may be cheesy, but I must say it is the best gift :)

Liz: Fashion Session

I had the privilage of taking Liz's pictures this summer for a senior session. We got 6 or 7 different outfits in if I recall correctly but still couldn't manage to get everything in that we wanted to, hence this "fashion session". I LOVE doing retro pictures and Liz had the same vision so thats what we mainly did.

I must apologize if the pictures are a bit mixed up outfit wise... I couldn't narrow it down so I added more :P

2010 Senior: Anika

Colors! We had a great time with colors even though it is rather drab outside. Our mission was to stay away from anything boring and dull so we incorporated a ton of color and pattern, doesn't it bring such life to a picture? I think so! (obviously) Anika had so many great outfits and accessories that I was even more indecisive than usual ;) But we got it figured out and had a great time. What a perfect way to wrap up the end of the senior season (until Jan when it starts again!).

Tip of the day: Have a great Thanksgiving! Praise goes up to Jesus for the wonderful seniors and seniors families I had the opportunity to work with this year. I truely appreciate you all.

2010 Senior: Christina

We took way too many pictures (is that possible?) and I adored them all. Christina has a great look that was easy to photograph and achieve something different at the same time. She was even willing to try the head wrap pictures, I will think of a better title for them soon by the way, which made my day. I love the innocent and exotic look to them, there is something that shows up in peoples eyes when we do those pictures that always amazes me. Its never the same look but unique to how each girl interprets the vision of the picture. Thats the artistic side of me talking there ;)

Tip of the day: We are coming upon my favorite season (tied with winter) and it is looking breath taking. We still have some fall senior sessions open for the middle/end of October if you are interested! The weather is prefect and you get great color, what more could you want in your pictures, besides all my crazy ideas...

FASHION SESSION MONTH: November

We are now booking for November and will be running a special promotion for fashion sessions. If you book now you will still get the TBA promo so feel free to contact me anytime. The fashion sessions are basically half hour session in which we can do fun family pictures, pet pictures, update with some edgy pictures for facebook, pictures with friends, couple pictures, or kids! I will have some limited edition props and themes we will also be announcing soon. Oh and I should mention its all only $35 per half hour. Pretty perfect

2010 Senior: Kristin

Soccer player, wheat disperser (see 3rd picture), and gray card namer (though I can't remember what Kristin named it, she is the first to give it an identity, and only those of you who have had a photo session with me will know what a gray card is) are just three of the many things that makes Kristin who she is. (Isn't it interesting how God makes us with such unique/wonderful personalities? Love it!) She was a joy to get to know and to photograph and I look forward to the possibility of more photo shoots with her in the future!

We have so many other edgy and high fashion images of Marissa's but I only have time to share these couple with you, something is better than nothing right? Tip of the day: Bring something really different to your session to make your images one of a kind. Whether it be a funky hair style, a crazy headband, a homegrown bouquet of huge flowers, old suitcases, a mini trampoline, or anything else you can think of.

2010 Seniors: Karlee & Logan

And here are the twins, Karlee and Logan! They endured a very long day of photo shoots, in the heat. We captured a ton of different looks and can't wait for them to see the rest of the photos, but for now here is the sneak peek. I'd love to write more but its extremely busy around the studio now so I'll have to run along. Coming next.... a Coleman girl with perfect hair (any guesses?)

Tip of the day: September is over half booked already so if you would like to get in please feel free to give me a call. We are booking for October also, and I will do my best to get your YB photo in a short amount of time, no worries! November is designated Fashion Photo Shoot month, which doesn't mean you can't still schedule a senior session but does mean we will especially be doing non-senior sessions like the Fashion Photo Shoots for families, college age, and add on sessions for seniors (in case you missed an outfit when you got your actual senior pictures taken or want to do something more crazy and fun). These sessions are $35 for a half hour and are a blast. Lastly, we will be also be hosting an event for fun facebook/myspace images, the date to be announced.

2010 Senior Rep: Trash the dress

It was so hard to narrow down to one image per girl but you can see them all on my facebook page if you are like me and crazy excited about the trash the dress sessions. These images are from our trash the dress rep day from a couple weeks ago. We were there all day shooting and had perfect weather (albeit a bit cold for getting in the water in the morning). We climbed rocks, carefully stepped on slippery stones, tried not to trip over sticks and thank the Lord no one got hurt through out our exiting day. Thanks girls for being adventurous and making the day fun. You all rock!

Tip of the day: 2011 seniors.... its not to early to start thinking about being a rep for Resolution! Next year we will have a new exclusive location for a rep day just like this one. Details to be released Oct 1st.

2010 Senior: Danielle

Its super busy right now so this will just be a quick pre-view for Dani. But I will say we had such a great time with her session and getting to know her and her family I didn't want to stop! God has blessed me with such amazing seniors this year, they impress me in so many ways and Danielle is absolutely no exception. Well I better get back to work..... 2010 Senior: Ariel

Ariel came with a ton of great ideas and outfits so we had a fun time getting many different looks in her 2 1/2 hour session. Enjoy your pre-view images Ariel, you get to see the rest before you know it!

Tip of the day: Ariel's hair looks perfect in her images because she came prepared with things for touch ups. Bringing touch up tools (brush, hairspray, powder, ect.) for hair and make up is always a good thing.

2010 Senior: Lauren

Lauren brought along some awesome friends (as you can obviously tell from the jumping picture) for the first part of her session. Girls, you are welcome to come up for pictures anytime you want and I hope you take me up on that offer! We finished up Lauren's session in the rain, in the water, in the cold. I was thinking the end of July would guarantee us some perfect weather for water pictures, but then Wisconsin happened. Gotta love it!

Lauren was also selected to take part in the runway show at the Bay Park Square Mall on August 9th because of her great personality. I love anything that has to do with fashion, and the runway show will have fashion plus some of my favorite 2010 seniors. Can't wait!

Tip of the day: I usually reply to all e-mails within 24 hours so if you don't get a reply in that time span, please feel free to resend the message just in case it never got through (since you can never trust technology). Same goes with voice mails. This weekend will be an exception to that rule since I will be out of town till Monday. Don't hesitate to e-mail or leave a voicemail and I will do my best to get back to you asap next week :) Have a great one!

2010 Senior: Charissa UPDATE

Tip of the day: We have quite a few openings in September yet but August is filling quickly so be sure to make an appointment soon if you would like to get in at a certain time.

2010 Senior: Maria

Maria is such a sweet heart, but don't let that fool you. She is super tough too! On one of the hottest days ever she posed perfectly for hours and hours. To top that off we walked quite a ways to our beautiful trash the dress location, through bugs, pine needles, and the heat. Now that I scared all the upcoming 2010 seniors ;) I'll let you know that whatever adventure we have for your senior pictures, it'll be worth it. And it'll be so much fun to look back on. Also, we found a shorter walking route to the trash the dress location, so no worries there!

UPDATE: Since Maria showcased such a great attitude for her senior session, she was selected as a model representing Maurices for the runway show at Bay Park Square Mall in Green Bay on August 9th. How cool is that?!

Tip of the day: If you want pictures by water, Trash the Dress session is right for you. We will drive out to the beachy lake location and spend around 45min photographing you in your prom dress, sun dress (like Maria's), or T-shirt and jeans. Evening offers the best light and right now July is booked so call as early as possible to make sure we get you in before the snow flies. It'll be here before you know it!

Fashion Session: Melissa

Melissa came in for a Fashion Session to get a couple images to go on her fun graduation invites and boy oh boy am I glad she did. Melissa has a great look that can pull of an edgier fashion look which is one of my favorite styles to photograph. I can't wait to photograph Melissa again in the near future.

Oh, and I am determined to buy her jacket.

Tip of the day: Bring in some funky, high fashion type clothes to your senior (or fashion) session. Even if thats not the style you want for most of your pictures, its still a blast to try something a bit different and see how it looks. What can it hurt, right? :D

Tip of the day 2: Note Melissa's makeup. It is absolutely perfect in these images. For striking pictures you need striking makeup so be sure to apply it quite a bit heavier than you would normally wear. It'll make your features stand out. Have trouble applying makeup? No problem, just let me know and I will book an appointment for professional makeup application before your session. Contact me for more details.

2010 Senior Rep: Shalyn - Summer Session

Here are just a couple of 2010 Senior Rep Shalyn's beautiful senior pictures. The last image is one of 9 new sets completed this last week. They are so fun/different and Shalyn was the perfect model to try them out. If you have an amazing memory, you will remember her first session showcased her straight hair and this session obviously showcases her curlier side :) I love the variety it adds to senior pictures! With the regular senior photo session you are allowed to change hair/makeup as much as you want at no extra charge, the time it takes will be included in your 2 1/2 hours of time photo time so you may get a couple less pictures but the decision is totally up to you!

2010 Senior Rep: Mary - Summer Session

Mary kicks off 2010 senior rep summer sessions! I am so blessed to have amazing 2010 reps and Mary is definitely no exception. She is such a joy to be around which overflows into her pictures. Our last 2010 Senior Rep..... Patience! Im surprised we didn't end up with every single one of her pictures blurry because she had me laughing the whole time. I can't wait for her regular senior session coming up this summer because I have so many crazy ideas to try out. Thats what happens when I find out a senior is a fun senior, I present them with something new and exciting ;)

2010 Senior: Brooke

2010 Senior Rep: Kejel - Winter Session

Kejel is beautiful and has perfect hair so needless to say this was a fun session for me. We used some brand new "looks" for this year, including my favorite.... the scarf head wrap! I have a couple of head wrap props and I can't wait to try them out on some 2010 seniors because it makes for such trendy, stunning images. Also going forward this year we will be using a bit more color and some more animal print. SO fun! Im glad Kejel was willing to try these new things since she is such a perfect model for them, now you can all see how great these new looks are.

As a side note, the Fashion Event went great! I will be working on getting some videos and pictures posted for those of you who couldn't make it :D

"After Hours" Fashion Event - Green Bay Maurices

I can't believe the Fashion Event is only 1 week and a half away. Here are the main 2 updates I promised you!

1. We now have over 10 prizes to give away the 17th. That gives you pretty good odds of walking away with something great for free! We will have a table set up for you to enter the drawing before the event so make sure you come a little early to sign up. I will announce the winners directly after the runway show.

2. There is now a model posing workshop in addition to our hair and makeup ones. All these workshops will be around 10-15 min long and filled with great info.

SO these new additions are going along with the runway show, the high school junior girls FREE goodie bags, and the 15% discount on all regularly priced purchases made at the event.

A big hello to the next 2010 Senior Rep for Resolution, Shalyn! This girl has perfect hair and sparkly eyes (not making this up!) Its a bit hard to see on these pictures since they are a little bit small. 2010 Senior Rep: Jordan - Winter Session

Jordan is the one and only guy rep this year and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to photograph him. We got to try a ton of new football ideas and we will have the chance to try more in the future! But before we get to do that we have a four wheeler photo shoot to complete. I tell ya, the fun never ends. A thanks goes out to Jordan for being so patience and willing to try my crazy ideas!

Tip of the day: This is for all you guys out there, bring anything and everything! Bring football, soccer, baseball, instruments, hunting, fishing, and anything else I left out. It makes your pictures way more "you".

Oh Mary, Mary, Mary. You make me speechless. In a good way ;) Mary has stunning features and a perfect smile but I am partial to serious pictures though so that is what is posted here! Tip of the day: Wet hair pictures are perfect if you are looking for something a bit edgier (3rd picture down). Just request wet hair pictures and we will do this at the end of your session! But be sure to bring your makeup so you can apply a little bit more for this look.

I LOVE retro sessions! I invited Mandy to model for me and she was so gracious to do so. We had such a great time trying completely new things. Just to prove to you its not too late for 2009 senior pictures.... here is Kaitlin! Im so glad she came in for portraits. Kaitlin had lots of fashion forward clothes which affords me tons of inspiration (I love fashion!) She affirmed yet again that Wausaukee seniors are awesome. We used a few of the new sets/lighting set ups for 2010 seniors and I can't wait to try out the rest I have sitting and waiting.

Tip of the day: Notice all the accessories Kaitlin brought and how perfect they work with senior pictures? Bring funky accessories people! :D

"After Hours" FASHION EVENT

I have to admit I am very excited about this event. It will be the first of a list of events I am working on for this coming year and is going to be a blast.

What is it? The name really says it all. A fashion event. There will be a runway show showcasing the latest fashions while teaching how to put together an amazing outfit. There will be hair and makeup tips, tricks, and advice. There will be shopping, with a %15 discount off all Maurices purchases (excluding clearance). I will have samples of my latest work displayed and will be offering specials on senior sessions. Also, drawings for a couple prizes, including Maurices gift cards.

Where is it? At the Bay Park Square Mall Maurices in Green Bay.

When? May 17th @ 6pm. I recommend coming a bit early to scope things out. The mall closes at 6pm (the mall side doors will stay open though, no worries) therfore we might be setting a few things up but coming a tad early will still be a good thing. I know quite a few of my 2009 seniors are graduating which is sad they won't be able to make it. I will be video taping and photographing the whole event for all you graduating so check back sometime at the end of May to see all the craziness :D

Why? I really wanted to offer this event so I can give some advice regarding fashion and how it relates to photography. So many seniors ask what to wear, how to add accessories, what makeup to wear, hair styling and how to layer. I don't blame them! It can be a bit (a lot) overwhelming. This event will take a bit of the guess work out, not to mention stress, of the fashion side of senior pictures. This event is geared towards high school juniors but all ages are welcome to attend! There will be great info and fun for everyone.

This is a free event but please RSVP to this event if at all possible. You are still welcome to come last minute if you did not RSVP. Those who can plan ahead for this are very encouraged to let me know so I can plan accordingly. Introducing the next 2010 senior rep... Ashley! It was great meeting Ashley and her mom, they were up for anything and had great energy. Another great thing was Ashley totally understood what I was explaining for posing. I gotta admit it, sometimes I don't articulate myself well when I am describing a pose (Im working on it, I'm working on it!) but Ashley understood everything I said, which made things that much easier on my end. And I hear she has great prom dress also for the trash the dress session. So excited!

2010 Senior Rep: Amber - Winter Session

Amber rocked out her rep session. She had accessories galore and the cutest outfits, I was so excited because I knew her pictures would be awesome. I was so right! Plus, she told me about the dress she is going to use for her Trash the Dress Session and though Im not going to let out any suprises (you'll have to wait to see till this summer!), its going to be perfect. Can't wait!

Meet 2010 rep Alison! I know I put a few more pictures in this post than usual but I couldn't help myself. The reason being, we tried a few new fashion/lighting setups and Alison pulled off every single one like a pro ( I was super impressed ). Along with that, she brought her friends to the session which made her first photo shoot even more fun. Plus we had a warm day! Imagine that! Sorry everyone! I know its been a while since I last posted. The Christmas festivities have been a whirlwind and I have loved ( it besides the fact I haven't blogged :( ). Only 5ish days till Christmas! Celebrating Jesus coming to save the world, yea it doesn't get a whole lot more joyful. I WILL have Christmas specials and Christmas backdrop/sets next year so be prepared!

Tony and Megan Wedding

Ok so I decided to finally post Tony and Megan's beautiful October wedding. I have been working on uploading pictures for weeks now and its so hard to pick my favorites I decided to just stop uploading and post!!

First off this was a very special wedding for me to photograph. I have know Megan for practically my entire life and Tony has been like a brother to me for the past 5 years. Since I have the privilege of knowing them, I knew I could try a few crazier things and get away with it :D The second picture we had the best man and matron of honor secretly do something weird behind the sweetly posed couple. They didn't know until they came to view the pictures. Kodi and I like to throw a few little surprises the way of the newly weds! I don't think any of the other pictures need much explanation so I will leave you to enjoy pictures. I might just end up posting more because I love so many of them. Otherwise I do have more on my website and facebook if you are interested.

Election 2008

I have yet to post anything non picture/Resolution related so I hope that stresses how important this is too me.

I am not here to tell you how to vote. America is a wonderful and free country which allows us the freedom of choice. There is one candidate though which would like to take many "freedoms" away. I am not a democrat or republican, but I watch and pray about who is right for our country. Please just consider these few points before you take to the polls.

Abortion. Its is wrong in every shape and form, yet Obama would like to allow the killing of babies while they are being born. There are approximately 1.37 million abortions a year in the US alone, that's 3,700 human lives ended every day. That's more then the amount killed by heart disease, cancer and car accidents combined. And that's nearly as many children killed in a single day of abortions as US troops have been killed in the entire Iraq war.

Sanctity of marriage. God created man and woman for each other. Period. Only that union should be glorified. At first sight it may seem that both candidates are for the sanctity of marriage, but look closely and there will be a clear distinction.

Spreading the wealth. I know this is hard times for many people. I understand the worry. But me, my family, my friends, and you who would be reading this, work very hard for their money. Very, very hard. Rewarding people with our hard earned money to give to people who do not work at all makes me a little upset. I understand there are people who need to be taken care of, who are out of jobs, but please lets leave it up to the family, friends, church, and neighbors to step in, not our government. There are other ways besides raising the taxes. Especially for small businesses. Those of you who own a business or have in the past understand. Those of you who don't, there is already an unbelievable amount of taxes on businesses. Its hard. Lastly, this will drastically raise unemployment, and thus hurt even more people then are being hurt now. A study done by the Heritage Foundation shows a hike in unemployment from 7% to 9.8%. This is a trend that happens in every other country with a comparably high upper level income tax level, and there is no reason to believe it wouldn't happen here.

These are only three points. For a Godly point of view on politics, I recommend www.jpamerica.com. If you want just the stats go to the candidates websites or I can offer a few other resources if need be. Just make sure you are informed.

I'm calling everyone to pray and vote next week. Your choice is your choice but please make sure it is honoring to Jesus. Our country will go in two very different directions. The USA is an amazing country, even in these more difficult times we have freedoms and privileges that no country can match. God has blessed our nation, please lets honor Him to keep it that way. PRAY. VOTE.

Well Mandy is a 2009 model for us here at Resolution (and doing a great job at it I might add) and that means she gets at least 3 different sessions. I am looking for models to represent us here for 2010, so if having fun and doing something different sounds good to you let me know! Hey girls! I am in need of a few models rather quickly. Most of you know about the album I have sitting by the register at Maurices. For those of you who don't, go check it out at the Green Bay store! I am going to be starting shoots for a new fall/winter album to be displayed there and I need about 3 models to get this thing rolling.

I do have a few requirements:

1. Must be within the ages of 16-21 and a girl

2. Must have 2008 fall/winter clothes from Maurices

a. it must be an entire outfit; shirt, camis, pants. Or a new dress.

3. Must be willing to have a blast and do something different

The new line of fall/winter clothes are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to get started on this. Also I should add that any girls that enter the SPA model competition this year and is a high school senior will guarantee her spot in the album, have an extra long shoot, and will have all her clothes provided for her for the shoot. So this is Cindy, a definate natural in front of the camera. She was a joy to work with and didn't even complain when I made her walk through buggy (is that a word?) weeds and sit on an ant hill. This is practically the easiest way to get money for your pics. Just bring in the Mapquest print out and I will give you .50 a mile back for your picture order, one way, up to $25. You can use this with all the other promos we got going on like the Maurices picture card, points program, referrals, ect.

There is now nothing stopping you from coming all the way out to Coleman for your senior pictures. Besides the fact that you will get sweet senior pictures out here, you will also get to see our lovely town and the wonderous road construction we got going on. :P But unless you are touring the town and take the long way, you won't run into any road problems on the way to the studio. No worries.

Another fun Trash the Dress session! This one was had a bit more of a beachy twist too it, kinda made me wish I lived in Hawaii, but thats beyond the point. Mandy had a perfect dress for the session which was added perfectly to the whole "feel" of the shoot. Perfect weather, clear water, a beach, and tons of fun.... what more could I ask for?!

Kodi and I recently had the chance to participate in the 4th of July wedding reception of Joey and Amanda. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so happy we couldn't help but have a blast. To top it off, the whole hour and a half drive home we got to watch the fireworks surround us from all the various cities we passes. Definately something everyone should experience once in their lives.

Trash The Dress

I recently experimented with the "trash the dress" idea and had so much fun with it! If you have never heard of the concept, you are most likely thinking, "this photographer is nuts" but first give me a chance to explain! I will bring you to a lake, river, or waterfall (need a model for that one yet, let me know if your interested). I then take fun, girly pictures of you in the water. Might sound weird but they turn out awesome. And don't worry about literally "trashing" your dress. All you'll need to do is hand wash or dry clean it. Also a few of you might be concerned that these pictures will be a bit "trashy". I am very careful to not "cross the line" so to speak, and make sure the shoot has a fun look to it instead. It does take a adventurous girl who wants something different to appreciate the whole process though. Let me know if you want to experience "trashing the dress". I would like some more models. You can either add it on to a senior session or anyone can do it just for fun!

This is Erica, Resolution's most recent senior. Isn't she so photogenic?! She was a blast to work with and toughed out the messy garage ( renovation still in progress ) along with the snow flurries outside. My thoughts are it should never snow at the end of April. But maybe thats just me ;) All in all though it was a great day and we got some great pictures.

Maurices Photo Shoot!

I just had the awesome opportunity to photograph 3 gorgeous girls in brand new Maurices clothes. It was even more fun then it sounds. Seriously.

We did have to fight the wind all day long but I'd have to say we won ( the girls might disagree but its my blog so my opinion wins, for now :P ).

I had to force my self to narrow it down to just a few of my favorite pictures to post here. thankfully I get to put all the images in a magazine style album ( new product for seniors this year ) which will be displayed at the register in the Green Bay Maurices. It'll be there soon so check it out if you are in the neighborhood. I'll also be posting some more pictures on Myspace, Facebook, ect.

Weddings!

Spring is here (YES!) and along with spring comes the weddings season and along with the wedding season comes new opportunities for Resolution.

Resolution had its first two weddings these past few weeks with more weddings to come. Now we all know that spring weather in Wisconsin in, well.... unpredictable (being optimistic here guys). We had one great day and one cold-ish windy day which thankfully made for some great pictures (isn't it great to see how God works everything for the good?)

We all had a blast at both weddings and look forward to doing more! Who is "we" you might ask? Well let me introduce the team. There is me (obviously), my mother "the great assistant", and the newest member, Kodi "the second photographer". Fyi, keep an eye out of Kodi and I's soon to be wedding photography business. Its is the beginning stages but we are both already very excited to be teaming up and getting the chance to offer a fresh fun opproach to wedding photography. I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop!

SPA (Senior Portrait Artists) Model Competition

Ok so I have to be transparent here and say I am very excited about this latest edition to the '09 Senior experience. Its SPA (Senior Portrait Artists) Model competition 2009. This model competition isn't the norm. The elements of your entry fee will include:

1.10 professional comp cards that you can submit to modeling agencies or just hand out to friends (I can provide a short list of the local agencies if you are interested in pursing modeling very seriously.)

2. Your pictures posted on the national SPA Model competition website for all to see.

3. A chance to win an all expense paid trip to Nevada. You will get to model for the top photographers in the nation. You will have the time of your life. Oh and did I mention the trip will be in the beginning of January. Who doesn't need a vacation around then?

Don't worry if you aren't a size 0 (who is? :P). They are looking for energetic (come on cheerleaders!), outgoing, seniors who photograph well and are easy to work with.

If you are interested just let me know before the beginning of September and I will get you the rest of the details! The sooner you decide you would like to enter, the better. That way, if I know before your session, I can advise you on what to wear, customize some of your photos for the competition, and also plan to get a few extra poses in your session for you. I look forward to having you represent Resolution!

Hello! So this is my first official blogging attempt. Are you excited? I am. Also a little scared since this type of thing isn't,... well.... my type of thing. But I'm going to try. For all you out there.

Weddings! I have 3 weddings booked for this upcoming year and couldn't be more excited about it. These few will be my first chances to try my hand at photographing weddings and I thank these 3 couples for giving me this opportunity!

We will soon start construction on my make-shift studio (garage) and have it comfortable and chic in a few weeks. In addition to the great ambiance we will be adding, there will also be an added control to the temperature (air conditioning and heating). I, for one, can't wait for the latter feature. Everyone who suffered the temps last year knows what I'm taking about. So sorry last year clients!

Imaging USA was amazing. For those of you who don't know what it is, I shall explain. PPA, Professional Photographers of America, (of which i am proud to be a member) offers Imaging USA as great educational tool every January. Interesting speakers, showcased hot new products, and millions of ideas are just a few of the things I experienced. You might now be asking yourself, "Well thats great and all, Jilane, but what's that have to do with me?" Everything! I have so many great creative ideas and I can't wait to try them out. Summing up, Imaging USA = fresh new sets/backdrops and poses for you!
